World of Warcraft Warlock Guide - The Essentials

The following WoW warlock guide will get you headed down the correct path when starting out with a warlock. The warlock class focuses primarily on curses, shadow bolts, and conjuring demons. Casting dark spells of pain and suffering are the warlock’s stock in trade. Though they are unable to go head to head in a melee fight, they more than make up for it by hurling high damage spells from a reasonable distance. Several of a warlock’s spells use soul shards which have to be collected from fallen mobs. The warlock class is a breeze to level in a hurry since they’re extremely self sufficient when playing solo. They’re usually among the biggest DPS dealing classes when grouped.

The warlock class is an option that is only available to the Blood Elf, Gnome, Human, Orc, and Undead races. The single armor type a warlock may wear is cloth. Weapon-wise, warlocks are restricted to just using staves, daggers, wands, and some swords.

Warlocks are best known for their ability to summon and control a variety of demonic minions including Doomguards, Felguards, Felhunters, Imps, Infernals, Succubi, and Voidwalkers. Every minion possesses unique benefits that you can exploit. Whether it be DoT’s (damage over time), DD (direct damage), or utility functions, a warlock is able to cast a broad range of magic spells. They are even able to conjure up various items and resurrect dead guild mates by using soul shards. They are able to heal themselves with life tap or drain life, and also possess some crowd control spells like fear and howl of terror. One of the overlooked advantages that warlocks have is that they don’t have to pay nearly as much gold as other classes do to get mounts (Dreadsteed and Felsteed).

The Affliction talent specialization is used for improving drains, curses, and DoT’s. When raiding and farming, this is an excellent spec for a warlock. It is arguably the best specialization for leveling fast.

The Demonology talent tree is geared toward creating more lethal demons and enhancing your conjuration spells. The Demonology specialization is particularly useful for PvP and overall survivability. It can also be good for leveling, though it’s not really as efficient as Affliction. This talent tree can be used during lower levels to help make up for the absence of good spell damage equipment.

Destruction uses talents that are meant to amplify the effectiveness of a warlock’s shadow and fire spells, which are mainly direct damage (DD) spells used to quickly take out 1 enemy. The Destruction spec is best used much later in the game, because it is hard to stay alive long enough to make use of it during lower levels. It requires a ton of soul shards, isn’t mana efficient, and is difficult to use effectively for people who wish to play solo.

A Guide to Hunter

The Hunter Class
If you are looking for a versatile charater to level in WoW then look no further than the Hunter class. Between the available talent builds, the pet options and their sheer prowess, it’s hard to go wrong with this class. This WoW Hunter Guide offers an in depth path to victory when playing the World of Warcraft Hunter character class. when playing this class with your character. Click here for more: WoW Hunter Guide

Starting Out
They main point of  to success is making sure you are using the correct character to begin with. You’ll need to look at your own personal strengths and make sure that they are a good fit with the skills of a hunter. The hunter class gives the player an image of tracking down animals and shooting them, however the hunter is much more than this. It can be tricky playing this class as the hunter has definite  strengths and weaknesses.

What a hunter excels at: Ranged warfare, including the use of bows, guns or crossbows. They are incredibly effective at dispatching their enemies with these means. Other skills the hunter has are used in tracking and survival. The use of pets for this class means that the pet can absorbed much of the damage from an attack, leaving you with more time to play. An issue arising in lower levels can be that the hunter is unable to acquire armor until level 40 and so one difficulty the hunter encounters is Melee fighting. Click here for more: Hunter Leveling Guide

Understanding what the hunter can and can’t do allows you to concoct a strategy for attacking enemies. Keeping distance from danger allows for greater chance of victory. For a hunter it is important to arm yourself with a pet, they enable you to melee fight and absorb any damage. As the hunter stands back and causes damage, the pet can get in close.

Your hunter and choosing the right profession
Now that you’ve decided to play this class, you’re going to need to pick a profession that meshes well with a hunter’s innate abilities. Your best bet is going to be the combination of skinning and leatherworking since this will enable  you to make your own armor. Another great combination of professions are skinning and mining, as these will enable you to buy weapons and armor. The professions that really don’t mesh well with a hunter are alchemy, tailoring or enchanting.

The other classes may find these professions extremely useful, where as the hunter gains no benefit. Herbalism on the other hand can be used for making potions to enable healing and quite a good profession in this respect. Gaining a pet on the other hand can also aid with melee fighting and herbalism takes a back seat.

The Use of Weapons
As we mentioned previously, the hunter shines at ranged warfare. You’re going to want to concentrate on bows and crossbows, or if you have the skill, guns as well. When you first start out, you’ll get a pretty basic bow, but you can purchase a more effective one as you progressive through the levels that will earn you more ability and help you become more accurate. There are also many ranged weapons that you can earn as you complete quests. For more information on our WoW Hunter Guide follow the link.

Warcraft Guide Review: Ultimate WoW Guide

Usually, guides for World of Warcraft tend to focus on just one area like Alliance or Horde leveling, gold making, professions, or player vs player. The Ultimate WoW Guide actually covers all aspects of WoW in one extensive bundle. No other guide currently comes close to the same breadth of content. The guide is regularly maintained so the information is always up to date.

The contents of the Ultimate WoW Guide is such that it is arranged into three main parts. Speed leveling your Alliance or Horde character to level 80 is the core of the first section. The guide uses an in-game add-on that makes leveling amazingly fast and easy. You definitely won’t want to go back to switching in and out of the game all of the time to use a guide.

You will need to install the add-on to your game folder (it’s easy, don’t worry), so that it can adapt itself to your character. Basically, the guide gently takes your hand and guides you through all the steps you need to take. All you have to do is accept quests and the guide will handle marking places on your map and directing you with an arrow on your screen. I found the in-game add-on to perform perfectly.

The speed leveling  guide also covers quests that are specific to your class. Not many guides do this. The provided gear guide is very comprehensive and covers every classes up to level 80. One feature not seen in competing guides is that Dugi’s Talent Guide resides entirely within the game. All talents can be designated via templates that are configured to be the best build for your character class.

How to make massive amounts of gold is the focus of the 2nd part of the guide. You will amass all the gold you need while running through the speed leveling section. Dugi’s gold guide focuses mostly on making gold for higher level players but includes some strategies that low level characters can use too. Mounts are really the sole reason to make gold for low level characters and that is just to improve leveling speed. The Gold Guide tells you the optimal areas to collect items, which dailies to accept, and how to dominate the auction house. It makes it simple to farm more than five hundred gold per hour, which is amazingly quick. Professions and gold making go together like peas and carrots. The Professions leveling guide clearly explains which professions that you should pursue and how to level them up fast and cheap.

PvP combat is the subject of the third and final section of the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide. I’ve always found this to be one of the best features of WoW. The guide has instructions for every race/class combination. You’ll get a list of game add-ons and macros that make PvP even easier to master, and a guide to choosing the correct talents for PvP.

Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide is a comprehensive guide that leaves nothing out. You will not be sorry if you decide to go with this guide. Whether you’re looking for guides for gold, talents, gear, professions, or leveling; every one of these guides are well done. I can’t recommend any other guide as highly as the Ultimate WoW Guide from Dugi.

Warcraft: Zygor’s Leveling Guide Review

In World of Warcraft (WoW), just about everybody wants to level up to 80 as fast as possible, and Zygor’s Leveling Guide claims that they can get you there in less than a week. The guide combines fast leveling paths for both Horde and Alliance with an in-game guide to speed you through the levels. You don’t need to alt+tab between different screens anymore in order to get the information from the guide, it shows up right on the UI within the game. This really speeds things up, and kind of feels like you have a pro power leveler coaching you.

The in-game guide is easy to set up and will actually configure itself based on your character’s race, class, and level. The guide even skips any steps that you might have already finished. You get shown where you need to go and what you’ll need to do to get there, including any items you may need to bring and who you will need to talk to in order to get there. It tells you the quests to take, and provides markers on the main map and a mini map that clearly show you where you are and where you need to head to next. There’s even a color coded arrow to make it quick and easy to see which direction you need to take to reach your goal, and how far away you are from your destination.

Whether you decide to go fast or take it slow, this guide will get you to level 80 as efficiently as possible. The guide eliminates any worry about wasting time doing quests that aren’t worth it (there are more than you might think), or forgetting what you were trying to do when you last logged off.

The in-game guide installation is easy and straight forward. There’s a short video that shows you how to get it integrated with the game. Don’t worry, it’s not difficult. There are also some nice extras - bonus guides, a user forum, and free lifetime updates. The Talent Build Guide is one of the bonus guides that shows you exactly which talents to take to speed up the leveling process. Also included is the Nether Drake Mount Guide for when you hit level 80, an Inscription Leveling Guide (Inscription is the Profession introduced in Wrath of the Lich King), and a Death Knight Class Guide.

Zygor’s guide gets a big thumbs up. Unlike a lot of guides, this one has an active community forum that actually interacts with and takes suggestions from users. Zygor’s Leveling Guide is the one to beat.

WoW Strategy Guide Review: The Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide

World of Warcraft strategy guides generally concentrate on only one facet such as power leveling, gold making, professions, or player vs player. The only strategy guide that encompasses all facets of WoW is the Ultimate WoW Guide. There are several guides out there that teach great strategies, but none of them are nearly as all encompassing as this one is. Despite the massive size, the guide is regularly updated for patches and expansions.

The information contained in the Ultimate WoW Guide is such that it is separated into three core chunks. The first segment is devoted to the 1 - 80 leveling guide for both Alliance and Horde, and covers every race/class combination. You’ll be using an in-game leveling guide add-on that makes leveling super quick and easy. You really won’t want to try going back to having to switch in and out of the game all of the time to follow a guide.

You will need to install the add-on to your game directory (it’s easy, don’t worry), so that it can be configured to your character. In essence, the guide gently takes your hand and guides you through all the exact steps you should take. A marker is placed on your map when accepting quests, and a directional arrow points you the right way. The guide UI uses only a small amount of screen space and works like a charm.

Another cool feature of Dugi’s in-game leveling guide is that it also includes quests unique to each class. You really need good gear when leveling, so a comprehensive gear selection guide is provided as well. A cool feature that only the Ultimate WoW Guide has is the in-game Talent Guide. There are pre-configured templates that you choose that will ensure you’re using the most efficient leveling talent spec for your class.

Everyone needs big piles of gold, and how to get it is the focus of the second part of the guide. You’ll accumulate all the gold you need while running through the leveling phase. To collect a size-able amount of gold you really do need to be 70 plus, which is exactly what this gold guide is geared toward. The only time you may really need to make gold in the earlier levels is when saving up for mounts. You will be shown the very best auction house tricks, where to find high demand components, and profitable circuits for daily quests. The guide makes it easy to farm over 500 gold per hour, which is unbelievably quick. Professions are a key component of making gold and a complete professions guide is provided to show you how to bump up your skills fast and cheap.

Part 3 of Dugi’s guide covers winning in PvP combat. This is one of the things I enjoy the most about this game. The guide contains instructions for every race and class. You’ll get a list of game add-ons and macros that will make PvP even easier to master, and a guide to choosing the best PvP talents.

Nothing else on the market comes close to delivering as much valuable information as does the Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide. You won’t be sorry if you decide to go with this guide. Whether you’re interested in guides for gold, talents, gear, professions, or leveling; every one of the included guides is top notch. Ultimate WoW Guide gets 5 out of 5 stars.

Warcraft: Zygor’s Guide Review

In World of Warcraft (WoW), practically everyone wants to level up to 80 as fast as possible, and Zygor’s Leveling Guide claims that they can get you there in less than a week. Zygor combines the fastest Alliance and Horde leveling paths with an in-game guide that makes it easy to power through levels. You don’t need to alt+tab between different screens anymore in order to get the information from the guide, it shows up right on the UI within the game. If you’ve ever used older .pdf guides, then you’ll appreciate the huge difference this makes in both speed and ease of use.

The in-game leveling guide is easy to use and will actually configure itself depending on a character’s race, class, and level. For the most part, the guide is also adept at determining what step you’re on if you installed in the middle of a quest. You’re shown where you’ll need to go and what you need to do in order to get there, including any items you may need to bring and who you will need to talk to in order to get there. It tells you the quests to take, and provides markers on your map that clearly show you where you are and where you need to go. There will be a directional arrow with coordinates on your display that keeps you headed in the right direction at all times.

Whether you decide to go fast or take it slow, Zygor’s Leveling Guide will help you to reach level 80 as efficiently as possible. The guide prevents you from wasting time and effort by staying focused on quests that offer the biggest bang for the buck, and using paths that have been tested to be the fastest.

Zygor’s guide also comes with some cool extras - bonus guides, a user forum, and free updates for life. The Talent Build Guide is one of the bonus guides that shows you exactly which talents to take to speed up the leveling process. There is also a Nether Drake Mount Guide for helping you to get this epic flyer once you have leveled up to 80, a Death Knight Guide, and an Inscription Profession Leveling Guide.

Zygor’s guide is highly recommended. There’s an active support forum if you run into any issues, and the guide comes with a money back guarantee. Zygor’s Alliance and Horde Leveling Guides should definitely be on your short list of World of Warcraft leveling guides.

Assuming you appreciated my Zygor’s Guide review, and are interested in additional content, then head over to www.warcraftcodex.com
