The MS Wireless Keyboard And The Xbox 360: A Perfect Partership?
Posted by Goldy in Uncategorized on March 21st, 2010
The Microsoft Wireless Keyboard, along with the Microsoft Wireless Mouse, really show up the different design philosophies behind the Xbox 360 and The Xbox 360 Accessories when compared against its rivals, the Nintendo Wii and the Sony Playstation 3. Thanks to the different demographics each company tries to target with its games machines, different approaches have been taken. Although it may appear arbitrary initially to compare these three platforms on the grounds that it may be comparing apples to oranges to pears instead of apples with apples and apples, such a review may still prove handy insofar as all 3 are fruits all the same, so to chat. And as debated at the outset, marginals like the Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse underline like nothing else the different wants behind each system. This article is one in a chain which will contrast the assorted consoles against some basic factors for the would-be client who can only afford only 1. Therefore let’s begin at the top by beginning at the bottom the final analysis, that is : lets assume that price is the main basis. In reality, if price were no object, all 3 systems would be bought and no review like this mandatory.
So let’s start by talking about costs : the Playstation three has an inclination to be a touch higher priced than the Xbox 360 or the Wii.
But regardless of the price differences, each console offers rather individual features all its own.But returning to the base line. The cost of the gaming system itself is only part of the total outlay concerned. Indeed, computer games may actually prove the most costly part of the entire equation. But then again, it’s what implies a successful console, and ironically is maybe the one line item that game players protest about the least.Next up are the accessories. Of course, today’s games can be terribly complex, and more convoluted marginals are needed for command and control, such the Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard discussed at the outset, which are usually related to PCs, can be discovered as game controllers for the Xbox 360. Now computing gaming is used to keyboards and mice, naturally, but their use in the world of console gaming was until lately unique. Many controllers are virtually half the cost of the console itself, but expediently that isn’t the case with the Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. So what could have been the second most dear line item on our total sheet may actually turn out to be even cheaper than the electricity used to power everything!
Which Console Is The Top One To Buy

Sales
If you are basing it on sales alone then it has to be the Wii that gets the prize. However from my opinion (a person who has owned all of the Nintendo Consoles) this has been the worse console that Nintendo have ever made. Why on earth is this?
Well the simple reason is that they have stopped caring about all of the Die hard fans and started to generalise their games for the general market which means we are constantly seeing rubbish games in which a Nintendo fan wouldn’t touch with a 10ft barge pole. Mario Kart wii sold because they toned it down to the the family but in all honesty it was a pants game. Mario Galaxy 2, nice one Nintendo, lets copy your previous ideas.
The Wii (in my opinion) is certainly out of it already.
Online and other
It has to be said that the PS3 is a great console with games such as Uncharted 2 it cannot be argued that it has some great graphics. However, online, although free, is slow, poor and features many people who cannot even speak English within it. I do not understan why they did not add language filters? Is Blu-Ray the only decent thing going for the PS3.
The 360 has the best games, the best experience when playing and a really good online community. Do not get a Wii as although it is said to be for the entire family, the kids and you will get bored quickly. 360 or a PS3 is the way forward.
To make sure these will not have to be replaced for some serious money, get game console insurance or gadget insurance. Of course you could also get some mobile phone insurance while you are at it.

The best console

This is an argument that has been in debate not just for this generation of games consoles but since the beginning. But what is the best one of this generation, Wii, Xbox 360 or the PS3?
Althought the sales of the wii seem to be doing very well it just isnt doing anything for me at all. The games seem to be the let down and not the games. There hasn’t actually been a decent release on the Wii for a very long time. Nintendo just seem to have left the fans behind. Nintendo have also rather insultingly announced another Zelda DS game and Mario Galaxy 2 both of which seem to be almost complete copies of the previous edditions.
The PS3 is without a doubt a very good console indeed. Blu-Ray is one of the reasons it has become such a success as well as the HD gaming and free online play. Free really being the word here. Free can mean only one thing, laggy games and awful servers. The games available just for the PS3 are very poor to Microsoft’s Halo and Gears of War with Uncharted, Metal Gear and Resistance all being very poor games. The PS3 wand seems to be a bad rip off of Nintendo’s product.
The Xbox has got to be top simply because of the overall experience I have recieved. The games are a lot better and the online service (although paid for) never really recieves lag. Xbox Live seems to recieve many more updates that actually do things of importance. Project Natal is also on the way for the Xbox which hopefully will mean only one thing, domination of this generation. At least Microsoft are tying to keep the fans happy. They have also secured the rights to for the new Splinter Cell to be a 360 Exclusive which is going to be very nice indeed.

Is the PS3 a Flop?

With the current console battle in a full blown war, we take a look at the Playstation 3 and its huge price tag. A simple yet proven fact is that the PS3 does do justice to its price? A simple answer, is simply no!
The Playstation 3 is a great console and although the price may be a lot larger than its rivals, the 3 consoles should not really be compared. A big and healthy war is going on between the consoles. But for an avid gamer you will be missing out on a lot if you do not buy yourself all 3 of the high end consoles, which are PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii. We will now take a look at why you need all three.
Playstation 3
Well the ultimate Playstation brand is much loved in the gaming world, and to be honest the PS3 has not let anyone down. Although the console is expensive, lets sit down and think what you are getting. A hard drive, probably a console with the best rendering of graphics, top titles and not to mention the Blu-ray. A blue ray is very pricey compared to a PS3.
Xbox 360
The first console to launch has a major advantage over its competitors and that is progress. The manufacturers know how to manipulate the Xbox to get the best performance. Let alone to mention that it has a lot more games than the other two.
Wii
The Nintendo Wii revolutionised gaming and with that came a whole new experience. Although a lot of the games may not be serious, they are very fun to play. The Wii also has the ability to bring families alot closer.
As you can see from the above all systems have their own benefits, but one of the main benefits is the wide range of the games. Most games only have sole rights to each console, so not obtaining all three could see you missing out on a great title. You should definatley buy the PS3 as its an awesome piece of machinery.
