Duty cycle per month with the 1022 comes in at a nice 8000 pages, which is generally more than enough for a printer that actually is intended by Hewlett-Packard to be more of a personal-type laser printer. What monthly duty cycle means is that the printer will be able to handle and print out about 1000 pages of product in a month before it would need minor maintenance or exchange of cartridges.
At present, prices for the HP LaserJet 1022 printer are coming in at about $190 for a refurbished model and up to $600 for a brand-new model. Keep in mind that it doesn’t come with its own USB cable, so be prepared to shell out additional money for one. Still, it’s a very lightweight and compact machine that prints out quite quickly, making it well worth the price.
