iPad cases could come and go, and goodness knows the prices for them are absolutely ridiculous at most retail stores. IN fact, just going through the local bestbuy, wal-mart and Fry’s, I found cases that pretty much ranged from $50 right up to about $100 - ridiculous! And while I do agree that you MUST protect your iPad - it just makes sense to do so, I can’t help but think that our tendency to put a case on our gadgets is being taken advantage of.
The good thing is though, that there are a lot of online stores that offer up a darn good selection of iPad cases at much more reasonable prices - same cases, half the price.
In all honesty, the suggestion I give all of my friends when they ask me about which case they should buy is to go and look for an iPad case online and save some money. We can’t save on the price of our iPad’s, that’s just fact. You are definitely going to have to fork out $500 for the base model of the ipad. But you can save yourself a considerable amount of money by being a smart shopper when it comes to your iPad case. When leather cases are upwards of $75.00 at most retailers, you can get the exact same case online for about $25 to $30 - now that’s money well spent.
I always refer back to leather cases for the iPad. It’s because I am a huge fan of leather cases, and it’s my case of choice for the iPad as well. The iPad is truly a great looking tablet computer, and a good leather case just adds to the elegance and style in my opinion. I just can not picture a bright yellow or flourescent green silicone case over top of my iPad - it would completely take away from how good it looks. Mind you there are arguments for silicone cases which are valid - shock protection, better grip, etc… I am just not a fan of them at all, despite my friends often telling me how great they are.
What I really like is a nice executive style iPad leather case, it just adds that touch of class to the iPad. I also like them because most of them are flip-open cases, which means that it feels much nicer in my hands when I’m holding the iPad due to a bit of extra weight, and I can close to front of the case and completely protect my iPad screen when I am not using it. At under $30 it’s an easy decision to make and it’s not so bad for my bank account either.

HP Mini 210 1010NR is thin (just 1.1-inches), curvy, and attractive with satin-feel materials and no hard edges. The system is mostly plastic but it looks well designed, especially with the edge-to-edge display and a small battery that fits perfectly into the contours of the computer. The computer weighs just about 3.0 pounds and feels like it’s put together well. The design overhaul makes the Mini 210 one of the better looking netbooks on the market, thanks to some design cues borrowed from HP’s Envy line.
One of the new perks of the HP 210 is that the bottom cover can be removed without tools so owner can easily access the components inside. It’s a nice feature but it’s probably not something people will use much. It’s a bit tough to put all the clips back in place once they are removed and they are plastic so there is the issue of wear, which means it’s best to use this feature sparingly.

Canon IP4600 Inkjet Photo Printer

I must say it has been a long time since I had to buy a printer cause my last one was 7 years old. I hated having to get a new one but I had fried the printer head on my last one and it cost more to get a new head than a new printer. I am prone to Canon products cause it is the brand I use most (at home and at work) and I have never had any problems.
This is not coming from any high tech type person. I am just your everyday type user that uses my computer for digital photos. I even have a Canon camera. This printer is so much better than my last one (from 2002) and you can easily see how much the technology has come even on a basic, inexpensive model like this one.
I’ve always loved their ink dispensing technology. It usues just the right amount of ink to get that job done and it’s usually less than other printers. Believe me, I print alot of pictures. I do calendars, invitations, albums (4×6) and greeting cards. I’ve gone from using 4 ink cartridges to 5 with this printer but that is not a problem. It has four inks for photos and one for text. When one color runs out, I just replace that cartridge.
The photo paper enters from a rear tray and it is easy to print photos using the program on the CD that comes with the printer. It also has a tray in the front for regular paper. The coolest thing is that the way it does duplexing. It can print on both sides of the paper and I don’t have to do anything to the sheet on the first pass. It sucks the paper back in itself and prints on the other side.
I know that there are printers out there that can do alot more but I haven’t owned any. You’ll have to excuse me if I get so excited with what this printer is capable of. It’s like a smart printer. It even tells you when you’ve forgotten to open it so the paper can come out the front. I keep it closed to keep dust out and it looks very nice on it’s little stand. May be big to some but not to me.
Canon iP4600 has turned out to be a wise investment. High quality, low price. I hope Canon iP4600 will last as longer or longer than my last Canon printer. If nothing else, you may need to buy a new one just to keep up with the new technology. I highly recommend Canon iP4600.
