As the new iPhone 3GS is coming out we are facing a brand new onslaught of people signing up to that much wanted contract at o2 to get the most popular phone of our time. Yet, is it all that? No doubt the answer would be Yes! Of course it is worth it! Although the iphone is the most popular phone on the market I have noticed a few road blocks which tend to be popping up in the forums across the net.
The biggest issue with the current iphone has got to be the onscreen specialist ergonomic keyboards. Personally, I own a Blackberry and that has a keyboard built into the phone but it is not touch screen. Surely, this has got to be worse? Negative, on the other hand I would say it is far better. Although the iPhone does offer an onscreen touchpad it is extremely annoying to use. It’s a case of the old classic – your fingers are too big for the screen. You punch one key and end up with the wrong letter. There are several areas on the iphone which are very hard to use.
Computer keyboards are harder to replicate, however having one on screen does seem like the logical choice for a phone like the iphone. Let us hope that educational keyboards don’t end up this hard to used as I am struggling to get use to how a wireless keyboard works myself.
People have been complaining about this problem for far too long and Apple need to do something about it. I have used the iphone on numerous occasions and I choose to have a Blackberry because the keyboard is so much easier and simple to use. It is definitely worth considering when you purchase your next phone. If you are thinking of whether to buy an iphone or Blackberry remember that the touch screen keypad on the iphone is not of the best quality. Buy keyboards online from Cherry key boards, who are the leading manufacturer in this country.
